Plaza del Parque is a lovely square at the foot of the impressive city wall in the centre of Ibiza town, next to the Vara de Rey boulevard.
It is popular with locals and holidaymakers alike, who meet in the many charming bars and restaurants, all of which offer lovely terraces. It is an atmospheric place with a very relaxed vibe, instead of loud music, the air is filled with people's chatter.
Many restaurants remain open during the winter season and heat their terraces with gas heaters or infrared lamps.
Several years ago, Plaza del Parque and Vara de Rey have been pedestrianised and got a complete make-over in the same style, together with a number of side streets, they now form a beautifully connected and spacious area.
