Monday to Friday, she was in the classroom teaching primary school children. Come the weekend, she'd swap the whiteboard for the booth, travelling the country with a record bag in hand to play some of the UK's best underground parties.
Now, after 16 years as a teacher, she's finally taken the plunge and made music her full-time focus. It's a move that feels long overdue.
Based in Leeds after leaving her hometown of Middlesbrough, Reeshy has spent years earning her stripes the hard way. No overnight success story, no viral shortcut, just countless hours digging for records, honing her craft and letting her sets do the talking.
Known for mixing chunky UK House and Garage and elusive underground gems, there's a certain authenticity to everything she plays.
Now with the freedom to throw herself into music without another day in the classroom waiting on Monday morning, it feels like this is just the beginning for Reeshy. You’ll be seeing a lot more of her on the island in summers to come, and we’ve caught her just as she’s taking off to talk about her favourite spots on this magical island. Take notes, kids...
Favourite beach | Cala San Vincente

I hire a car when I stay in Ibiza and drive out to Cala San Vincente to get away from the island’s busier spots. Clear turquoise water, perfect for snorkelling and lovely beachfront restaurants.
Favourite restaurant/bar | Tapas

Every time I’m on the island I visit Tapas Ibiza in San Antonio at least once! A gorgeous relaxed atmosphere with a creative menu, delicious small plates and amazing service from friendly staff.
Favourite breakfast spot | Cappuccino Marina Ibiza

Cappuccino Marina Ibiza has spectacular views overlooking Dalt Vila. They have beautifully presented, delicious classics such as eggs benedict, avocado toast, fresh pastries and, of course, excellent coffee which you can enjoy whilst watching the yachts come and go.
Clothes shopping - Casa Vintage at Las Dalias

Casa Vintage at Las Dalias market is one of the best places to buy vintage clothes in Ibiza. An amazing selection of unique pieces to choose from and the owner is lovely and great for giving style advice!
Place to stay | Wi-Ki Woo

Wi-ki-woo - one of Ibiza’s most iconic boutique hotels set in San Antonio Bay. It provides easy access to the island’s nightlife but is also a luxurious place to relax. I had one of my favourite days ever last year drinking cocktails by Wi-ki-woo’s pool, joined by my family and best friends before I played on Amnesia terrace.
You can catch her at FUSE this Sunday at 528, as well as a couple more solid dates scattered over the summer. More info and tickets here.
