Hailing from East London and brainchild of East End Dubs, the Eastenderz collective has well and truly made its mark on the UK underground scene and beyond. The party has become a regular fixture at some of the world’s most respected clubs.
This summer, it has taken control of Tuesday nights at Hï Ibiza.
A platform for burgeoning talent, as much as showcasing headliners, this week's line-up gave Evie the all-important opening set in The Theatre. Having recently sold out Birmingham's Lab 11 and sporting her own record label and fashion line, she’s been making serious inroads.
With Eastenderz known for its deep, dubby rolling grooves (no surprises there), Garage and a stripped-back approach to House, there's definitely an expectation of the mould of music you're going to play when flying the flag of the stag.
Evie certainly delivered. Her set that kept the vibes high and gave the dancefloor plenty to work with - and work with, they did. It was a set laced with good records, moving between familiar cuts and more underground selections - many from fellow UK artists.
Some highlights included Bob Sinclar's I Feel For You, which brought a bit of classic House flair into the mix, while a dance remix of Notorious B.I.G's Hypnotize was another nice touch, achieving the intended crowd reaction.
By half past midnight, the room was well and truly picking up - and the tunes followed suit. Hip Da House by Mene certainly shifted it up a gear in both vibe and tempo, with Evie giving the crowd a little more to get their teeth into as her set progressed.
Then came a rinse of her very own single, Do U Wanna Dance. It was a fitting way to showcase what she’s about, giving the dancefloor a taste of her own production in amongst the rest.
By this point, there was little need for any encouragement. Everybody was moving, the room felt alive and the crowd was firmly locked in for a night of grooves.
Charged with getting things going, Evie succeeding in doing it without rushing the process, managing to showcase up-and-coming artists and her very own sound.
We're keen to see her back on the White Isle, that's for sure.
Evie has no more confirmed Ibiza dates for the remainder of 2026, but should any late bookings roll in, you will find them posted here.
We're sure we'll be seeing more of her in summer 2027.
