Melon Bomb gets a fresh slice at new Sunday home in [UNVRS]'s Wild Comet

For most Ibiza regulars, Melon Bomb will already be on your radar. Known for bringing high-energy to every setting they play, the group has become synonymous with their quarterly shindigs at Tanit Beach Club, monthly takeovers at Pikes and all-night-long sessions in Hï Ibiza's Wild Corner.

Made up of Paul Reynolds, Ben Santiago, Scott Gray and Corbi, the quartet has built a loyal following through years of marathon sets, odd-ball selections and an uncanny ability to pull together crowds that are there for one thing above all else: good music.

This summer, the much-loved collective is stepping into an entirely new chapter, with a brand-new weekly residency in the Wild Comet of [UNVRS], taking over every Sunday alongside Carl Cox, trading intimate for interstellar.

If the first few parties were anything to go by, they've settled into their new surroundings pretty quickly.

At the opening party, the crew took the Wild Comet on an eight-hour trip across genres, proving they're just as comfortable soundtracking one of Ibiza's biggest club spaces as they are throwing intimate get-togethers elsewhere on the island.

From disco oddities to chunky House, rolling Tech and everything in between, pigeonholing Melon Bomb has never really worked.

Former Space Ibiza resident and arguably the squadron's best known member, Paul Reynolds, describes Melon Bomb as having "always aspired to ride the line between underground forward-thinking music, but keeping our roots in the past, digging for forgotten gems that bring the party across the board.

We're huge music lovers, which keeps our sound fresh and adaptable from more intimate spaces to main rooms."

Their other residencies are still very much in the calendar, meaning this summer they'll be bouncing between Ibiza's more most intimate dancefloors and adjacent to Ibiza's biggest dancefloor, with Carl Cox as their neighbour.
