When the World Cup kicks off in 2026, Ibiza won’t just be about beaches, sunsets and late-night DJ sets; it will once again become one of Europe’s most atmospheric places to watch football.
The 2026 World Cup will have a distinctly European flavour from an Ibiza perspective. Sixteen UEFA nations have qualified, including Spain, England, France, Germany, Portugal and the Netherlands, as well as Scotland, Sweden, Norway and Switzerland. Given the island's international mix of residents and holidaymakers, expect packed terraces and plenty of divided loyalties throughout the tournament.
Across the island, bars, beach venues and hotels turn match time into an event in itself. Screens go up, terraces fill early, and groups of fans from across Europe gather around pints, sharing the kind of energy only a global tournament can generate.
From the lively sports bars of San Antonio to the more low-key cafés and pubs of Ibiza Town, and even beachfront venues where kick-off rolls straight into sunset, watching football here feels less like sitting down for a match and more like being part of a summer-long festival.
Please note that kick-off times for the 2026 World Cup vary significantly across time zones, with some matches taking place very late into the night in Ibiza. As a result, not all venues will be licensed to remain open for every fixture, particularly those scheduled after midnight. You are strongly advised to check directly with each bar or venue in advance to confirm screening times and opening hours for specific games.
Check out our guide below for the biggest screens, coldest beers, tastiest spectator snacks and all-round top venues to shout "Goal!" this summer.
San Antonio
San Antonio will become a football fan's dream, thanks to the great selection of venues all switching on their screens to showcase the latest from the playing field.
Starting at the top of the beach promenade, Bam-Bu-Ku's Fan Zone brings big screen energy to their tropical paradise, with a focus on the earlier evening kick-offs, particularly fixtures involving England, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Further along, Itaca will become a bustling base for crowds to gather and celebrate, along with neighbouring venues, the Irish Beach and Ibiza Rocks Bar. Here you'll find dedicated screening areas, full match-day programming and one of the biggest screens on the island. Expect plenty of atmosphere and energy along the beachfront during match times!
Just next to the famous Egg roundabout, Flaherty's Irish Bar offers nine big screens throughout the bar, so whether you're sitting or standing, you'll never miss a goal. Around the corner, Big Putts will convert its mini-golf and garden cocktail terrace into ringside seats, with a giant screen and football chants on loudspeaker to keep the energy high.
For those wanting to stay close to the West End action, Tamesis Sports Café will be showing matches across multiple screens, along with the Championship at the top of the West End, while Saona Ibiza offers another option for watching the football before moving on to the night's entertainment. With Scotland matches kicking off after midnight local time, members of the Tartan Army should make a beeline for the Highlander, any of the Irish bars, or West End pubs to cheer on their team into the early hours.

Across the bay, the colourful adults-only hotel Ryans Lolas is sure to be one of the top places to watch matches. Other San An Bay venues include Irish Bay and Urban Lounge, both of which are expected to attract sizeable crowds throughout the tournament.
Ibiza Town and surroundings
In the port, Ryans La Marina will be showing every match of the World Cup, all the way from the group stage to the final whistle. It's a safe bet that other bars in the same area will put up screens especially for the event.
Just outside San Jordi, on the road to San José, Cas Costas Grill - with its spacious terrace and open-air setting - is a comfortable spot to follow the football. Guests can settle in for the match while enjoying its signature grilled dishes straight from the charcoal barbecue, turning the game into a relaxed, long-table dining experience.
Playa d'en Bossa
Let’s not forget, you’re on holiday in the Med after all. If you’d rather leave the footwork to the players, kick off barefoot in the sand on Playa d'en Bossa at Nassau Beach Club or Tanit Beach Ibiza and watch the drama unfold from the shoreline.
Or wander inland for the second half at Dunes Ibiza, where you can settle beneath its netted canopy and ease into the evening. Moma, Murphy’s and Top 21 are other popular choices for watching the games.
Santa Eulalia and the east coast
Meanwhile, in Santa Eulalia, fans can head to The Queen Vic, with its cosy interior and walled courtyard garden, or Restaurante Noelia, known for its spacious outdoor seating. Up the coast, in the popular resort of Es Caná, standout venues include The Red Lion, Montemar and Popeye’s Bar.
Whoever you're cheering for, let's make Ibiza's World Cup celebrations one to remember!
