No passport is needed for this TRIP, as Johannes Goller's slick underground party comes back to Chinois Ibiza. This time it packs five dates of pure Minimal and Micro House music before the majority of tourists start to arrive. Now there's an incentive for an early-season getaway...
April and May bring a collection of TRIP favourites and new names to a pretty hefty pre-season run.
As previously announced, Seth Troxler will head up the opening party over Easter weekend on Maundy Thursday 2 April. He's supported by local favourites Hugo Martinez, Cesar Vinzent and Isbel.
Friday 10 April, FUSE boss Enzo Siragusa and Liniar label head Arapu are back, joined by Cologne talent and phantasy dance founder DJ Sweet6teen.
Thursday 23 April brings a week of returning favourites: Panorama Bar resident and Love On The Rocks label head Paramida, veritable selector Margaret Dygas, and a name long synonymous with TRIP, get-traum founder Traumer.
Thursday 30 April, two iconic Detroit artists Carl Craig and Moodymann (pictured above) set the bar high. They return in tandem with support from Hugo Martinez and Pacome & Liana.
And just when you think it’s over, Sunday 17 May, Running Back label boss Gerd Janson returns. He's joined by two new TRIP-pers: UK rising star L.P. Rhythm and New Zealand-born, Hands On Sand party-starter Pascal Moscheni, along with TRIP residents Cesar Vinzent and Isbel.
"As the longest running party at Chinois, we are very delighted to be back to launch the season," head promoter Johannes says. "There are some exciting changes to the space you have to see for yourself; a darker, more intimate vibe which fits the TRIP music-first focus really well."
Locals know: TRIP pre-season is where the magic happens. Tourists? They'll catch wind of you bragging sooner or later. Tickets to all five dates are on sale below.
