Set upon the west coast rugged coastline, Hostal La Torre owns one of the most prized positions on Ibiza. The sweeping views it commands are second to none and include front row seats at the island's most famed nightly spectacle, the Ibiza sunset.
Only 3km from the heart of vibrant San Antonio, this location offers a strikingly different setting, where couples and groups of friends can escape the island's noise and enjoy a moment of magic together.

With the small islet of Sa Conillera in the distance and the rocky outline of Cape Nonó framing the picturesque scene, the westward view of the glistening Mediterranean Sea is otherwise uninterrupted.
Open all year round, from early morning to midnight, the restaurant offers four locations for you to drink and dine.

The covered restaurant terrace and an open terrace that spreads beautifully onto the hillside are the two ‘ground floor’ dining locations. Dinner reservations here are bookable between 19:00 and 21:30, and you would certainly need to ensure one is made to capture that all-important moment.
Otherwise, the elevated dining space with an upstairs viewpoint and cocktail zone are available to those who are a little more relaxed about their reservations. Just make sure to arrive early to bag a seat for the hottest show in town.
That’s quite enough about the incredible views (we really advise you to get first-hand experience and visit for yourself), because now it's time to give you a taste of what we had to eat.

To start, crusty warm chunky bread, with deliciously garlicky alioli, and some of the most delectable olives we’ve bitten into all summer. Perfectly washed down with a smooth and dry glass of the house Château Sainte Marguerite.

Next, we shared a well-heaped bowl of steamed mussels in a coconut curry, coriander, and lemongrass sauce. Creamy and fragrant, we ordered more bread to ensure none went to waste.
To counterbalance, the juicy watermelon and avocado salad worked beautifully. The fresh lime, coriander, and jalapeños added an extra spicy and zingy bite. Make sure to mix well before diving in!

One of the fantastic additions here is the music. Every evening, DJs accompany the view with the perfect soundtrack to support the nightly spectacle. An iconic Ibiza pairing.

For our main course, the roasted, juicy salmon was enriched with a rich olive and cava sauce, cherry tomatoes, and basil pesto. A really interesting mix of flavours.
The meaty beef entrecote was perfectly sliced with a piquillo pepper confit as the slightly sweet side. The chargrilled lamb skewers sat alongside a homemade, smoky hummus, creamy yoghurt, and pita bread to pile it all in.
The benefit of all trying a variety of dishes from the menu meant we were able to taste a little of everything. What's a dinner with friends if you can't happily pick from each other's plates?
Still sharing, we opted for a hat-trick of sweet treats.
The well-recommended, and delicious, homemade vanilla flan with super sweet dulce de leche and a juicy strawberry for that healthy added touch.
The homemade American-style baked cheesecake was next. Creamy and soft in texture, the slightly sharp passion fruit ice cream worked superbly alongside.
For the fruit injection, a poached pear filled with mascarpone cream, laid on a bed of crunchy crumble, and accompanied by a dollop of pistachio ice cream to finish.
We found that a spoonful of each in turn was the best way to enjoy them all to their fullest.
