If you've spent more than a couple of summers on the island, you’ll know how noticeable the gap was when RESISTANCE disappeared from the calendar.
For three seasons there wasn't really a proper, heavyweight weekly Techno night that held the same weight that RESISTANCE does. When Ultra's underground wing returned last year, that was made right.
Now back for a second summer at Amnesia (and its fifth Ibiza season overall), RESISTANCE returns to Wednesdays, running from 22 July to 16 September in peak season.
During the nine weeks, ARTBAT will play three dates: 29 July, 19 August and 9 September, with Boris Brejcha also getting a trio of call ups: 22 July, 12 August and 26 August.
Then there's an Amnesia homecoming a very special guest...
Legendary DJ and producer Eriz Pyrdz makes his sensation return to Amnesia after an absence of over ten years. He also takes three dates: 5 August and 2 and 16 September.
The first time in a decade will mean something to anyone who remembers those earlier golden Terrace moments for both Cream and Tonight (later called Together).
His fellow Swede Adam Beyer is confirmed as weekly headline resident, playing all nine dates.
The rest of the line-up is TBA, but to give you an idea of the profile of artists booked last year, they included Anfisa Letyago, ANNA, Argy, Chris Avantgarde, Hi-Lo, Ida Engberg, Ilario Alicante, Innellea, Joris Voorn, Juliet Fox, Kölsch, KOROLOVA, Layton Giordani, Maceo Plex, Massano, Mha Iri, Mind Against, Richie Hawtin, Sasha & John Digweed and Stephan Bodzin (live).
The opening and closing party will take place across both rooms, while the other seven dates take place on the Terraza only.
