About Sven Väth presents Cocoon Ibiza
Created and fronted by legendary DJ Sven Väth, few parties enjoy the legacy that Cocoon has on Ibiza. As the island's original Techno party, its contribution to Ibiza's musical identity can not be overstated. The shared journey has been a true Ibiza love affair.
After earlier parties this summer and standout September adventures in 2024 and 2025, Cocoon is back in the Benimussa Hills, returning to 528 Ibiza for another day-to-night marathon. The old guard will be reunited, installing the values of the past and alighting closing party season.

528 Ibiza is located on the outskirts of San Antonio, close to the residential area of Ses Païsses. The immediate area has a handful of local bars and small restaurants, but a fraction of the choice compared to the thriving San Antonio nearby.
Due to its location in a residential area, driving is largely discouraged. Attendees are advised that taxi is the best method of transport to and from the site.

Best known for: Inventing Trance (no, really!), bringing Techno to Ibiza, embodying the unbridled spirit of the dance, being resident at Omen club underneath Frankfurt airport, honestly, there's too many to list...
Fun fact: Sven's first visit to Ibiza was pure fate, flipping a coin to decide whether he should board the ferry from Barcelona
Synonymous with Amnesia (where it stayed for 19 out of 20 seasons), Cocoon is responsible for introducing Techno to Ibiza. The sound of the island would, otherwise, have evolved quite differently.
Away from Amnesia, it was Cocoon's legendary after-hours that became etched into folklore. While the day and night party is a different beast entirely, there's definitely a sense that this outdoor extravaganza mutated from those wild days of lawlessness and carefree hedonism.
The music of Cocoon has also evolved down the years, but one thing that remains constant is its loyal and passionate fan base. Cocoon was and remains a party of the people - the antithesis of VIP culture, which it refuses to entertain. The dancefloor has always been the sole focus.

Why?

- on-site after party - "Nighttime Party" - no need to pay for a taxi elsewhere
- unanimously regarded as one of the best parties of the past two summers - attracting an amazing crowd of like-minded ravers
- the largest party to have ever taken place at his location - including all three outdoor stages during the Daytime Party and two rooms music for the Nighttime Party
- it might not be entirely phone-free, but there will be relatively little recording = a more engaged and reactive dancefloor
Also worth knowing
Circumvent the headache of set-clashes by applying disciplined logic. Sven plays again inside during the Nighttime Party, so perhaps visiting Hawtin on the second stage during the Daytime Party gives you best of both worlds? We like a solution to a (high-class) problem.
