Our guide to the best hotels that Ibiza's second town has to offer.

The Low Down

San Antonio began life as a charming fishing village on the shores of Ibiza’s largest natural bay, where fresh seafood and golden sunsets are a daily ritual. It became hugely popular with tourists in the 1970s and has since grown to become one of the island’s premier holiday resorts, boasting a watersports marina and hosting world-famous nightlife.

The quality of hotels in and around San Antonio increases every year. As well as top-notch rooms and facilities, many of them now offer specially curated entertainment, some very contemporary artistic touches, amazing health and wellness amenities and outstanding cuisine. Prepare to be wowed!

We have updated our guide to help you find your ideal place to stay. Here are our suggestions for the best accommodation the town has to offer.

HIGH END

At the top end of the spectrum, San Antonio has several luxury hotels that are the match of anywhere on the entire island.

TRS Ibiza

Close to the picturesque coves of Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta, TRS (The Royal Suites) is the island's sole all-inclusive, five-star hotel exclusively for adults. It has a fantastic beachside location. Its highlights include no less than three à la carte restaurants, the cutting-edge Zentropia Spa and Wellness Centre, and the Gravity Bar, from where you can enjoy unbeatable views of San Antonio’s famed sunsets.

OKU Ibiza

Also close to Cala Gracio, the superbly appointed OKU Ibiza is a bohemian minimalist marvel, with a laid-back vibe for those who want to truly luxuriate in the Ibiza lifestyle. Definitely, a place to relax and nourish your body and soul beside its massive pool and satisfy your appetite in the excellent Asian restaurant. And when you feel the urge to wander out, the pretty beach of Cala Gració is just minutes away on foot.

Hotel Palmyra

A top-quality beachfront, adults-only hotel in the very centre of town, Palmyra by the Palladium Group is a great choice for those who want to tumble out of bed and straight onto S’Arenal beach. Situated within walking distance of the town’s top clubs, the promenade outside will also guide you all the way to the famous Sunset Strip.

We can’t finish this section without mentioning Pikes - the island’s original, truly bohemian hotel, where the party never stops. Ensconced on a hillside outside San Antonio, this adults-only hotel is ideal for couples or groups who wish to luxuriate in a legendary freedom-lovers hideaway. Many of Pikes’ rooms have been given a modern refresh and the poolside and Freddy’s (its notorious discotheque) are where lifetime memories are made.
