Whichever metric you use, it's hard to label elrow as anything but the planet's biggest party brand. The colossus that originated in Barcelona has become a global phenomenon, thanks to its garish themes and use of production on a monumental scale - acrobats, confetti and CO2.
With festivals and club shows worldwide, elrow has a presence just about anywhere you can think of, but its Ibiza residency is a jewel in the crown. At Amnesia since 2017, it's one of the few parties where who's playing takes a back seat to the rest of the chaos going on around you.

When?

Just over a decade ago, Saturdays on Ibiza didn't mean the busiest day of the week.
Most DJs took big fees to play weekend shows elsewhere in Europe and most holidaymakers stayed for at least a week, typically arriving and departing on Saturdays. Ergo, compared to the other six days, Saturdays were a bit of an afterthought where partying was concerned.
Nowadays though, Saturdays are colossal... and elrow is largely responsible for helping that paradigm shift. Without relying on a single headline DJ, instead rotating its line-ups and placing the show as the star, elrow was instrumental in changing Saturday's fortunes on Ibiza.
Where?
Amnesia - one of Ibiza's most decorated clubs and a brand that wields worldwide influence.
It has two awesome, but completely different dancefloors - and both of them retain legendary status on the island. The Terraza is a clubber's paradise, rectangular in shape with a spring-like mattress of a dancefloor, that reacts to the united rhythm of those moving on it.
Meanwhile, the Main Room is darker and less symmetrical with various tiers. Both are powered by recently installed KV2 audio sound systems and each has a VIP balcony overhanging the dancefloor below. READ OUR BEGINNER'S GUIDE FOR THE FULL LOWDOWN
For elrow, the Terraza is the production-filled, white knuckle ride where you find acrobats, trapeze artists, bungee jumpers, abseilers and a lifetime's supply of confetti. Next door, the Main Room becomes elrow City with all the sights and sounds of the metropolis and one DJ all night long.
Who?
Psst. Let us let you in on a secret: unlike nearly every other party, elrow doesn't rely on superstar names (although that's not to say it doesn't book them: Eats Everything, Fatboy Slim, John Summit, Solardo and Patrick Topping are just a few of the names appearing this summer).
elrow is much more about the what? - the spectacle. It's the show that takes centre stage.
Whether that be the icy tundra home of the abominable snowman, Growenladia, or the depths of Davy Jones' locker in the ship-sinking whirlpool of Triángulo de las Rowmudas, there's a theme for just about everything.
I suppose if we did have to give props to individuals, then it would be the elrow animation team - a rag-tag bunch of rogues who go above and beyond to get in character and make your visit to Amnesia a memorable one. These guys are the lifeblood of elrow. They live and breathe it!
As well as them, let's give it up for elrow resident DJs. They are more than capable of hanging with the ringers. Shout out to Toni Varga, Marc Maya, Tini Gessler, De La Swing and Bastian Bux.

Anything new this summer?
Like every summer, the closing party, this year scheduled for 30 September, will premier a brand new theme. On the last two occasions (2019's Kaos Garden and 2022's Delusionville), these have been collaborations with modern visual artists Okuda San Miguel and Ron English.
We can only guess at what weird and wacky ideas the crazy gang will think of next? The line-up also remains under wraps.

elrow gets hell-a-busy. Go prepared. If shoulder-to-shoulder crowds get a little too much for you at times, then we strongly recommend upgrading to balcony-access tickets. This will alleviate the madness of the dancefloor, offering an escape route away from it all.
Plus the bird's eye view looking down from above onto the carnage of the dancefloor is quite something to behold.
