Gallery: Ushuaïa opening rocks Playa d'en Bossa

The Ushuaïa colony is back to swarming the luxury venue for another season.

The Ushuaïa opening party ranks among the top opening bashes on Ibiza. Its supersized version goes from noon to 2:00 of the next day, and all stops are pulled to make sure every detail of the extended party is top notch, starting with the line-up and the infallibly spectacular production.

The day took off with Raul Rodriguez folllowed by Francisco Allendes. Next up were DJ and producer Davide Squillace going b2b with the Grammy nominated Martin Buttrich. Underground favourite Uner concluded the afternoon before handing over to Eats Everything who took care of the sunset with some irresistible beats.

Next up was Paul Kalbrenner with a smashing live performance infused with threads of classics from the 90s, such as Moby's Go and Technotronic Pump Up the Jam. ANTS colony leader Andrea Oliva took over from there, coming on, quite literally, with a bang. While Steve Lawler did not make it over due to a British Airways technical failure, Andrea pulled out a solid set till the end of the night, including a tribute to Robert Miles with his platinum-selling Children. Filled to capacity, the party could not have been more of a success. It is on at Ushuaïa.
