Pikes announces opening party details

That little magic haven in the rural hills outside San Antonio is ramping up summer fever on Saturday 29 April. It'll be your first opportunity to check out the new look of Freddie's party suite, which has been given a revamp dusting over the winter months. On the billing to bring in the beats are Artwork, Melon Bomb, Rock Nights, Justin Harris, Brothers Grim, Harley Maxwell and friends, David Philips, Andy Wilson and Flamenco from Paco Fernandez. And of course, Bathtub Karaoke and Dressing Up in the boudoir with Sunny will be ready and waiting for you.

Disturbing Ibiza is back for another killer season, and you've fifteen dates to make a grab for some Tempah. You can catch the South London rapper doing the business every Friday from 9 June to 15 September. Guests to be announced soon.

Trance Family Unite to infiltrate Eden

For the music heads who relish bombarding their ears with trance, Fridays at Eden is where you'll need to be. The superclub's NeXt room will be taken over by the crews behind Trance Family Netherlands and Connect Ibiza between 30 June and 22 September. The full roster has already been dished, and in there you'll find well known trance pushers appearing alongside fresh talent. In for the opening on 30 June are Menno De Jong, Mark Sherry, Philippe El Sisi, and residents Marc Simz, and Alex Ryan. DJs making an appearance across the rest of the season include Alex M.O.R.P.H, Daniel Manroov, Marco V, The Thrillseekers, Amos & Riot Night, Sneijder, James Dymond, Jase Thirlwall and Ruben Verhagen.

HYTE pre-opening party date confirmed

Techno fiends will be getting their fill with HYTE'S return in 2017, and it's kicking off early with a pre-opening booked in for Wednesday 31 May. Promotional insignia this year is simply ´MORE´ and it takes not much guess work to figure out why. It first landed on Balearic shores in 2015, came back strong in 2016, and seeing as we crave it so much, we'll be seeing more selectors, more residents DJs, more nationalities, more bass, more raving, more sunrise sessions and more after parties. Bish, bash, bosh. The line-up for this beauty includes Loco Dice, Pan-Pot, Chris Liebing, Tiga, Benny Rodrigues and Archie Hamilton.

Lovin' Ibiza Festival welcomes early season clubbers

Clubbers on the island at the end of April have some big choices to make as there's loads going on, including Lovin' Festival. Over the course of four days, you'll be checking out the best spots the island has to offer. The opening party is at Pacha on Thursday 27 April, the festivities continue onto Friday 28 April at Privilege from midnight, Saturday is all about the beach vibes at Bora Bora, and the closing continues with a day session at Ocean Beach over in San Antonio. Artists set to appear include Javi Reina, Ángel Linde, Carlos Pérez, Technasia, Francisco Allendes, Javi Green, Javier Reina and Michael Sánchez, among many more.

ABODE moves to Sundays at Sankeys

With Steve Lawler moving over to Hï Ibiza the Sunday slot was up for the taking, and ABODE was the one to do the swooping in for some Sunday nonsense. The London event series made its debut in Ibiza last summer, and by all accounts, they delivered. Moving from Fridays to the end of the week slot is a good move for the residency, and you can dice with ABODE's crew from 11 June to 17 September.

Ibiza Rocks' 2017 live series revealed

Primal Scream and The Kooks are just two acts confirmed for Ibiza Rocks live series in 2017. Others at the forefront of Ibiza Rocks´ ongoing mission to promote live music on the island are Stormzy, Dua Lipa. Clean Bandit, Mullally, Bastille, Rationale and Fickle Friends. The six-part series begins on Tuesday 4 July, with closing falling on Tuesday 5 September.

Afterlife announce move to Privilege and season line-up

Tale Of Us hit the ground running last year, and any concerns that it'd be missed in 2017 with the closure of Space were hushed this week with confirmation of its new venue. The move to Privilege's Vista room is more good news for the San Rafael superclub's underground scene. Afterlife's 14-week stint takes off on Thursday 29 June, and over the course of the season your guests include Âme, Dixon, Mind Against, Nina Kraviz, Recondite, Jamie Jones, KiNK, Maceo Plex, Vaal, Stephan Bodzin, Matthew Johnson and Daniel Avery, among more.

Children of the 80s' third season confirmed

Time to get comfortable in your Lycra as Children of the 80s is back for a piece of the pie every Friday from 2 June through to 29 September. Hard Rock Hotel in Playa d´en Bossa is the venue, and the season line-up will be responsible for whipping up ridiculous amounts of nostalgia. More details to follow soon.

The Canadian headliner is back on the island three seasons on from his last appearance. In for two dates, we'll be seeing him on Tuesday 18 July and Tuesday 22 August, and those are his only dates on the White Isle this summer.

Float Your Boat drops first phase of Cream boat party line-ups

The first batch of names for those sunset stealing sessions on the Med are out, and it's a solid mix of regular faces, Float Your Boat debuts and a very special appearance. Between Thursday 8 June and Thursday 21 September, you've got Philip George, Anton Powers, Grum, Jason Bye, Sean Hughes, Will Atkinson, Jack Eye Jones, Sam Divine, George Kwali, Josh Demello, Kideko and Kellie Allen, and in what will be a HUGE date on the calendar, house veteran Roger Sanchez will also be in.

Steve Lawler adds exclusive Warriors dates at Sankeys

He's moving on to new ventures with a residency at Hï Ibiza, but as promised he's giving Warriors a spin this season with two sessions in the bag. On Wednesday 31 May and Wednesday 4 October Lawler's notorious event series will be back in Sankeys' basement, because as Lawler told us earlier this month in an exclusive interview, not only is it important not to end Warriors' legacy on the island, but it also has to be where it was born.
