Ibiza Spotlight presents Music For Dreams El Salon take-over

Our final party at Space... let's go all out.

This Sunday the 7th of September, we throw the last of four Spotlight takeovers of our favourite room in Space, itty bitty El Salon, Space's living room, the house party corner of the epic Playa d'en Bossa superclub.

For our final party we've enlisted Danish producer, label head, club owner and generally one of the biggest music fans in the history of ever, Kenneth Bager. If you're not familiar with his label Music For Dreams, the colourful home of a wildly eclectic anthology of releases, and you've not found yourself dancing at Denmark's Club Coma, then you might have enjoyed his weekly sunset sessions at Café Mambo last year, or tuned into his weekly shows on Ibiza Sonica Radio. We're big fans at Spotlight and are chuffed to have him present what will be an interesting and diverse selection of party tunes, maintaining the theme of Spotlight takeovers, which has been to always provide something different and never take partying too seriously.

Joining Bager in El Salon will be island legend since the ‘80s DJ Pippi, plus Bob Masters, Lucci Capri and Spotlight DJ comp winner Ric James. It also happens to be a cracking We Love line-up this Sunday thanks to a Warehouse Project takeover, with Nicolas Jaar headlining, plus Joy Orbison b2b with George Fitzgerald, Eats Everything b2b with Richy Ahmed and Kerri Chandler and Benoit and Sergio knocking about the terrace booth too… but don't stray from El Salon for too long, you might miss something important, like the following:

Things that happened at the last three Spotlight El Salon takeovers…

- marriage proposal (for serious!)
- roving trays of hierbas
- rampant glitter abuse
- birthday cake x 2 (eaten, not thrown)
- Love Is In The Air sing-a-longs
- live hip hop MC right amongst the crowd
- limbo
- disco dance-offs
- shut down by the PO-lice, sort of.

Things we expect to happen at this, our final shindig...

- 100% involvement rate sit down (includes bar staff and bouncers)
- vivid musical awakenings for anyone who hasn't enjoyed Music For Dreams before
- guest performance from Space Cat (confirmation pending)

We can't wait to party with the extended Spotlight fambly (which we've decided includes anyone who has ever used our calendar - so everyone) and think this will be a great way to kick of the September silly season. Do join!
