Passion and performance at Lío Ibiza's Halftime Show

There’s no half measure in this summer's whirlwind of talent.

Lío Ibiza steps back into the limelight in 2026 with an all-new singing-and-dancing showstopper: the Halftime Show. Under the artistic direction of Pol Chamorro, and with its final season in this incredible venue on its mind, there was little doubt this last dance before moving to its new home in 2027 would be anything short of spectacular.

Sparkling on the water’s edge of the glamorous Marina Botafoch, Lío has long been a hotspot for celebrities and the rich and famous. Overlooking the equally glitzy marina, the views expand all the way to the stunning Dalt Vila on the horizon.

Escorted to our seats by the ever-attentive hostesses, it wasn’t long before the team of performers also made their introductions. Little did we know that the crowd, too, would become part of the show; however, with expert tutorial, we were soon throwing our arms up to every rendition of Pitbull’s ‘Feel This Moment’. In fact, the whole venue was - crowd participation at its finest!

Suddenly, the whistle was blown, and the game commenced. Hosted by Mr Romance and his stunning array of glittering suits, we were thrown onto the pitch and into the full extravagance of the show.

The show opened in full pizzazz, as flocks of leather-clad dancers hit the stage and the most incredible vocalists belted out renditions of Christina Aguilera's ‘Fighter’, Snaps! ‘Rhythm is a Dancer’ and U2’s ‘With or Without You’, amongst many other big hits.

The theme of the night was consistently brought into play. One minute, the stage is filled by a team of burly football players (who we can only hope play football as well as they dance); the next, by a stream of cheerleaders and their orchestra of whistles.

The night continued to get wilder and wetter. We don’t want to give too much away here, but let's just say the umbrellas handed out to the front row were definitely welcomed.

It wasn’t just the show that was standout, but also the food. Served a three-course menu of creative culinary masterpieces; at times, it was hard to know whether the plate or the stage was more captivating in that moment.

The culinary creations were not the only reason to make our jaws hit the floor, as the tantalising twists and turns were continuously matched on stage. Amongst the dance troupe, it seemed as if acrobatic skill and shows of strength were like a walk in the park, as they swung in unison from poles and bent their bodies without breaking a sweat.

One thing you soon realise is that the team on the Lío Ibiza’s stage are not just ‘good’ singers and dancers, they are performance athletes and true musical artists. With style and stamina, each routine was executed amazingly, from the thumping group throwdowns to the elegant individual setpieces.

In fact, it's such an electric vibe that the crowd can't help but get enticed into the action too - you feel like a star yourself by the end of the night!

As the night progressed, we were in constant awe of the sheer showmanship of the performers. Passion, flamboyance, and a costume collection that deserves its own applause, Lío Ibiza’s Halftime Show looks like it will own the floor for 2026.
