Ministry Of Sound revives Ibiza legacy on 35th anniversary with island return
This summer marks a long-awaited return to Ibiza for one of dance music's most integral clubbing institutions. After a ten year hiatus, Ministry Of Sound resurrects its island legacy, with a special one-off at 528 Ibiza on Thursday 3 September.
Celebrating its 35th anniversary as one the most respected and culturally important brands in the history of dance music, M.O.S takes full advantage of the venue’s open-air Garden Stage and indoor club space for a showcase to remember.
Featuring House pioneers, underground selectors to contemporary club talent, the Garden Stage will be set ablaze with the sounds of legendary New Yorker Louie Vega, as well as new school House star Dan Shake, Radio 1 selector Benji B and Paisley Jensen from 17:00 to 23:00.
Inside the club, URGE hosts the next generation of talent with Murphy's Law, resident Basso and DiOsa, plus an appearance from Solid Grooves affiliate Reelow, as part of a deeper, more underground late-night programme that rolls until 04:00.

Originally founded in London in 1991, Ministry of Sound has played an important role in the development of global dance music culture through its flagship London club, record label and international parties.
This welcome return to the White Isle comes in the midst of the brands ongoing 35-year celebrations, with the world tour launching in Dubai this January. In total, the year-long tour spans six continents and 35 cities.
Ministry Of Sound club director, Matt Long, notes, "Ibiza has always been an important part of Ministry Of Sound’s history, so returning after ten years away to mark our 35th anniversary had to feel special.
528 represents a side of the island that has real character and authenticity - a unique open-air venue. With our history at Pacha and Space, this is a show we;re approaching with real intent - the venue, the production and the line-up all reflect that."
Conceived as a travelling showcase, the tour unites headline DJs, emerging talent and local scenes under the brand's ethos of high-impact sound and uncompromising dancefloor energy. A world tour without stopping off in the music capital of the world, would be a criminal offence.
