When to visit

Thanks to cheaper flights, more affordable accommodation and beautiful weather, the early and later parts of the season (April to June, September and October) are often the most popular times for groups to descend.

In fact, from as early as mid-April, herds of young bucks in mankinis can be seen strutting elegantly along the seafront, as flocks of glittering hens congregate at nearby watering holes, their tiaras glinting in the sunlight. It’s a beautiful sight to behold.

If mum, dad or even grandparents are joining, then coming outside of peak summer months also means more tolerable crowds and much more tolerable heat.

Where to stay

The two liveliest resorts and most geared up to cover all bases are Playa d'en Bossa, San Antonio, and the nearby Bay area. Here, there’s so much happening on your doorstep that not every second needs to be overly organised, meaning groups can enjoy downtime to do as they please.

Ibiza Town and Figueretes should not be overlooked, especially if the entire group's demographic is more mature. They are fantastic locations for being close to both culture and clubs, but with less chance of neighbours waking you up with early morning parties.

Celebrating surrounded by your chosen hens

In recent years, adults-only hotels have come into their own with some truly great options, especially for those wanting a completely child-free break.

There’s also the option of renting a villa in many beautiful spots across the island. These would be ideal if having your own space is a priority. Homemade barbeques and late-night dips without being told off does certainly sound appealing.

Of course, there’s a whole island that’s ready to welcome you, whatever your budget and style.

Where to eat

From Thai to Japanese, and Mediterranean excellence with a twist, the entire world's gastronomic gifts can be tasted in Ibiza. Plated and served in an infinite number of picturesque settings, the only thing you need to do is filter your search to suit your group's palette and budget. We advise pre-booking to avoid any tears before the wedding.

The most popular evening show, a sunset from the Sunset Strip

There is one recommendation for a vista that should not be overlooked, that of the incredible, world-famous Ibiza sunset. Most notably caught on San Antonio’s Sunset Strip, it's an unmissable nightly event that's even better accompanied by a fantastic dinner and cocktail menu.

Two spots stand out in particular for stag and hen parties along this promenade, namely Wi-Ki-Woo Boutique Hotel and Café Mambo. Their stylish venues, reams of experience, and bang-on views make them a regular choice for pre-wedding party celebrations. Another shout must go to Itaca Ibiza, which not only has an inside club to hit afterwards, but is also in prime position alongside the San Antonio beachfront promenade.

Monkey Ibiza 2025

Dining with an intimate show at your table at Monkey Ibiza

Whilst we’re on the subject of dinner and dancing (whether it’s you, or performers parading in front of you), the island offers a myriad of mouthwatering, multi-layered musical maestros to get both kicks. If you’d like our extra-special recommendations, then Monkey Ibiza in San Antonio, Lio Ibiza in Ibiza Marina and Teatro Pereyra in Ibiza Town all put on one hell of a show.

Where to party

Yes, the rumours are true, Ibiza truly is the clubbing capital of the world. With so much selection, it’s impossible to go into specific detail on every individual night, but here’s some insider knowledge to guide your group's dancing feet.

Daytime dancing: Pool parties at spots such as Ibiza Rocks Pool Club and O Beach Ibiza are a fantastic day-to-night out. Any and every age here is welcome; in fact, bring your nana, she’ll likely get more attention than the bride-to-be.

Poolside fun and party for everyone at O Beach

Taking up the middle ground, 528 Ibiza, Cova Santa and even Las Dalias garden offer unpretentious daytime dancing that anyone can appreciate.

Then there’s Ushuaïa Ibiza, which offers the island's greatest outdoor stage presence. Even if clubbing isn’t the norm for someone in your crew, it is a one-of-a-kind experience everyone will love.

The stage comes out, and the roof is off for these open-air dancefloor celebrations. To make the most of Ibiza's balmy temperament, the parties begin mid-afternoon or early evening. This means the whole gang can start together and finish at a more reasonable hour (or carry on inside at some venues) if they choose. Late nights need not be a necessity for all.

Puro reggaeton Es paradis

Hitting the night at Es Paradis

All night raving: Finally, the island's big guns and super-clubs, which we warn, come with a go hard or go home attitude. Here we’re talking about [UNVRS], Amnesia, Pacha, Hï Ibiza, Eden, Es Paradis and Chinois Ibiza. The nights are big, sweaty and lay it on thick to keep you there until the early hours.

From House to Reggaeton and classic old school Trance, the island offers a delicious musical pick-and-mix bag that everyone can get stuck into. Whatever the choice, our world-famous party calendar is your first port of call for planning your dates and getting tickets booked in advance. When booking, make sure to check out the drinks package deals at certain clubs; they can really help keep your budget in check.

Pukka Up Boat Party | San Antonio | Ibiza

Never stop dancing on the Pukka Up Boat Party

Boat parties: Setting sail from either Playa d’en Bossa or San Antonio, these floating fiestas are hugely popular with groups. Top deck fun with friends cannot be underestimated, and as they’re often mid-afternoon or early evening departures, you still have the rest of the day to enjoy elsewhere. It's worth noting that some boat parties include tickets to other parties afterwards, as part of the overall price. A deal that might be worth taking if your legs are still steady.

Beach clubs: Ibiza’s beach clubs are a great place to settle in for the day and deliver that extra touch of luxe to the trip. Imagine the sun shining down, as bottles of Grey Goose are delivered to the bed, in between dips in the sea, on the sandy dancefloor and into some of the island's most incredible menus.

Daytime memories

Dare we say it, getting out in the daytime is just as rewarding as your nocturnal plans. If you do come in these early or later months, you’ll be met with shimmering seas and quieter beaches. There’s nothing like spending the day in the sun, reminiscing with friends over last night's fun, in between sandy-toed trips to the beachfront bar for refreshments.

Exploring Ibiza Town should be on the list; it is a stunner. Here you can slowly mooch around, taking in Dalt Vila’s impressive stance over the town, with regular refreshment stops for a caña or homemade gelato ice cream.

Simple days like these can be just as memory-making as the big-budget affairs. After all, this is about you and your crew having that final Ibiza fling, and relishing in your closest's company.

Memories to last a lifetime

If you were considering a more permanent reminder of the fun you had, an Ibiza tattoo is never a bad idea...is it? We aren't trying to convince you, but if it were on the agenda, then World of Ink in Playa d'en Bossa and Ibiza, and Chiky Tattoo in San Antonio are the professionals for the job.

There’s a whole island to discover, and while buses and taxis run regularly, if you’d prefer to travel in style and on your own schedule, then you could opt for a private transfer and minibus. This way, there’s no one getting left behind at the taxi rank.

New adventures

Yes, fun on the dancefloor is second to none, but how about belly laughs with friends as you try your hand on a paddleboard or kayak for the first time? What about the feeling of reaching the peak of a hill as a team, or all jumping in the sea at a secret beach after touring down dusty caminos? New adventures (with others or as a private group) are there for the taking and will create stories you’ll be regaling forever, ones that may be more favourable for the best man’s speech…
