Designed to stand out from the crowd, it's not hard to miss a Concept Group Hotel. Bold and bright, they are one of the coolest hotel brands to make their mark on Ibiza.
Every hotel (they now have eight dotted across several locations in Ibiza) is designed with a theme and personality in mind, and there's not an inch that hasn’t been snatched and styled with it in mind.
Walk into any hotel from the collection, and you can feel the uber-cool emanating from the walls. It won’t be more than five seconds before your camera is in your hand and you’re posing like you’re on a runway.
But it's not just the rooms and hotel landscapes that are bold and bright; they also host a series of events that invite hotel guests and non-residents to be part of the cool crowd for the night.
This week, we were invited to join the fun for ourselves, and of course, we have the photo evidence to prove it.
Dorado Live Show | Venice Bay, San Antonio Bay
The next and final event Saturday 4 October
Held at Venice Bay, its outdoor venue located between the Paradiso Art Hotel and Grand Paradiso, this summer's Dorado Live Shows have brought the Rock energy to San Antonio Bay.
Not just any normal gig, its cool, retro, arty flair is designed to get you in the mood before the band even steps on stage.
We barely had a minute to take it all in before rollerbladers in colourful outfits glided through the crowds towards us. As they swirled and danced to Disco classics, we checked out the vintage pop-up stall, outdoor bar, and food truck, which all gave the space a festival feel. And of course, we couldn't resist admiring the Grand Paradiso’s legendary red Mustang, parked up and ready for photo opportunities.
Sandy Valey was the first act on stage; her amazing performance had us all singing along, and transported us back to the golden era of Rock’ N’ Roll. Next up, Shinova took control of the microphone, and the energy skyrocketed. This was not a performance you could stand still for, and the entire crowd was up on their feet dancing throughout the packed venue.
Sadly, there’s only one more event - for this summer anyway - so make sure to join for the grand finale on Saturday 4 October. It's also good to know part of the ticket proceeds are donated to APAAC, a charity dedicated to the fight against cancer.
Pure Salsa & Sabrosura | Cubanito Ibiza, San Antonio

Who can say no to a night of dancing under the stars? Especially when it's laced with Cuban flavours, Latin sounds and swinging hips.
Three nights a week, the stunning El Malecón rooftop at Cubanito Ibiza is on fire, as Salsa aficionados and complete beginners twizzle and twirl to the pure Salsa and Sabrosura beats.
As complete beginners ourselves, we were pleased to have our hands held with a short class to introduce us to the steps. After that, there really was no holding us back. The friendly crowd, patient instructors, and captivating music were completely absorbing, whisking our minds off to dreamy scenes of sunny Cuba.
Most importantly, though, it was great fun and a perfect alternative to a night inside a hot and sweaty club. Make sure you get those dancing shoes on and join the sunset salsa sessions for yourself.
Bingo at Bambola | Los Felices, San Antonio Bay
Every Wednesday and Friday from 20:30, until 15 October
Los Felices brings all the fashion and extraterrestrial flair you didn’t know you needed, but now can’t get enough of. Under a stunning palm-fringed sky, the hotel is a beautiful melding of pinks and yellows, creating a super chic, avant-garde aesthetic.
If you can drag yourself away from the spaceship that stylishly hovers poolside, then you must try your luck at its twice-weekly Bingo. While your Nana is most welcome, the crowd that joins for these games is as fresh and hip as the decor itself, and that includes the Ibiza Spotlight team.
A team effort, once the numbers started to be called, we were immediately invested, our ears pricked to see if the next number could make any of us winners. While we had hoped for Lady Luck's hand in our game, sadly, it was not our night to call Bingo!
Instead, we drowned our sorrows with a tasty wood-fired pizza and assured ourselves that next week we’d be back on our winning streak.

To really round off the summer, The Sonorama Festival will be a two-day celebration on Saturday 3 October and Sunday 4 October at Venice Bay. A great double hit of fun, with live music performed by Spain's top Indie bands.
