Sticking with the same approach it has used in recent years, elrow has again recruited contemporary visual artists for its newest theme.
Hallucinarium premieres at Amnesia on Saturday 28 September, the date of the closing party.
It follows in the footsteps of Okuda San Miguel's Kaos Garden (2019), Ron English's Delusionville (2022) and Nychos' Dance With The Serpent (2023).
This time, elrow has chosen to work with Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. The pair have worked independently and together since 1975. Painters, sculptors and costume designers, they are known for their exploration of psychedelic states.
Get ready to enter a higher state of consciousness, as the party takes participants on a mind-bending journey through the valleys of psychoactivity.
Close your eyes and imagine a stage where transcendental beings move against hypnotic backdrops. Performances will feature angel-headed dancers with flaming third eyes and stilt-walking seraphim with iridescent wings.
The line-up has also dropped. HUGEL and Cloonee will bring their Latin House flavours to the Terraza, while Toni Varga and Bastian Bux are the elrow residents on hand. Chelina Manuhutu completes the bill.
Meanwhile, in elrow City, Eats Everything and Andrés Campo play back-to-back all night long.
