Party preview | El Cielo presents Diynamic Outdoors at 528 Ibiza

Two takeovers in Pacha's series see Solomun return to Benimussa Hills with his label and cohorts.

About El Cielo by Pacha

As part of its extensive plans for its 50th anniversary year, Pacha Ibiza has teamed with the leaseholder and landlord of 528 Ibiza to bring a series of outdoor parties called El Cielo. Heavenly in name, design and execution, these parties showcase Pacha's biggest DJs.

After CAMELPHAT stole the show earlier this month, El Cielo continues with a brace of parties from Solomun's Diynamic Outdoors set for 23 August and 2 September.

Want to know more? We answer the big questions: when? where? who? why? and how?

When?

Wednesday 23 August and Saturday 2 September, 18:00 to midnight

Ibiza boasts incredible parties from late April to mid-October, but as we edge towards late August and the start of September, we start to notice a change in demographic. The first-timers begin to tail off and the season for Ibiza veterans and clubbing fanatics begins.

Suddenly, closing parties are on people's minds and club bookers reflect this in their programming, as line-ups target a more musically-savvy and dedicated mould of clubber.

Where?

Formerly the holding pen of the legendary anthropomorphic party The Zoo Project (back when it was known as Benimussa Park/Gala Nights), 528 Ibiza has enjoyed a mixed couple of years.

A sprawling outdoor estate in Benimussa Hills near Ses Païsses on the outskirts of San Antonio, 528 was taken on by hospitality expert Andy McKay (MANUMISSION, Ibiza Rocks and Pikes) in the summer of 2021 and initially trialled a cabaret and fine-dining concept.

Now seemingly back to doing what it does best - throwing festival-like parties in a magical location, we're excited to see how 528 and El Cielo evolve together over the course of the season.

Solomun | Pacha Ibiza by Raul Sanchez

Who?

Solomun is one of Ibiza's most magnetic DJs, guaranteed to pack dancefloors wherever he plays, but especially at his weekly Sunday night slot at Pacha and his irregular dates at Destino. Very few DJs are on par when it comes to pulling a crowd.

Solomun last played in the grounds of 528 Ibiza for his epic 2019 closing party afters - a night that went straight into the history books. His return is set to be talk of the town.

His label is also well-rooted in Ibiza's party scene. From the throwing free beach parties, to its immensely popular Neon Nights at Sankeys and later showcases at DC10, Diynamic parties always attract a great crowd.

Diynamic Outdoors holds parties around the world, touching down in Amsterdam, Berlin and Brazil.

Nowadays, the label's talented roster features less and less on Solomun's +1 line-ups at Pacha, as he invites increasingly higher profile guests. That makes this your chance to catch the Diynamic crew before the big Bosnian takes the helm himself to finish the show.

Why?

We'll make this quick and easy. Because...

  • Fans of Solomun won't need to think twice - and at only €40 pre-sale, this is a snip compared to the price of tickets at his other residencies at Pacha and Destino
  • not far to travel for those staying or living in San Antonio or San Antonio Bay - very convenient
  • free shuttle bus for ticket holders travelling via San Antonio bus station to the venue's front door - no need to pay for taxis
  • get to experience the thrill of the old Zoo Project parties and understand why they are still talked about in such glowing terms
  • a festival-esque experience right here on Ibiza with a big stage and lighting, first under the sun and later under the stars
  • hot food options available on-site
  • Solomun aside, these showcases are about platforming new talent that don't otherwise get bookings on Ibiza. Solomun has an ear for production, so here's an opportunity to see what label talents Disfreq, Mila Journée, Malive, Rafael Cerato, Gorgin and ANTHY are all about
  • Solomun travelling over to this side of the island is a rare luxury. His last appearance at this location at the end of summer 2019 is the stuff of Ibiza folklore, so let's see if we can add a further two chapters

How?

Now a question with a simple answer: by buying your ticket below.

For peace of mind, why not add insurance cover for only €5 extra per ticket? This allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the party for any reason, should your plans change. Insurance policyholders can then claim the full value of tickets back with no quibbles.

Head below to get yours. See you on the dancefloor.
