Clockwork Classical marks 30 years of Clockwork Orange

Danny Gould's orange army goes high-brow at Recinto Ferial on Sunday 23 July.

Thirty years in the making, after all those silly shenanigans Clockwork Orange is cleaning up its act. Following in the footsteps of Pete Tong, Jeff Mills and a whole host of other luminaries, Danny Gould and his orange army are going high-brow with an anniversary orchestral edition.

Clockwork Classical takes place on Sunday 23 July at the exhibition hall FECOEV Recinto Ferial on the outskirts of Ibiza Town.

  • Toolroom Records boss Mark Knight is back to make everyone's "hand shake" after debuting at Clockwork's 2019 Amnesia party
  • Another Chance producer Roger Sanchez another name at the top of the bill
  • Flamboyant TV personality turned DJ/producer Gok Wan also returns
  • Live sets from heritage acts K-Klass and Shades Of Rhythm
  • Other Clockwork favourites on the bill include Tall Paul, Jason "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" Bye, Toni Oneto and Brandon Block & Alex P
  • One of House music's most iconic voices, Brixton soulstress and Bizarre Inc. vocalist Angie Brown will perform a live PA
  • Danny Clockwork and Andy Manston - as standard. Proper!
  • Bongo Ben bringing the heat on percussion
  • First clubbing event ever to take place at Recinto Ferial

About Clockwork Orange

Named after Kubrick's cinematic masterpiece, Clockwork Orange started on home soil in the UK in 1993. Gatecrashing Ibiza a year later, it reigned at Es Paradis between 1994 and 1999, but Danny Gould's well-documented lifestyle of excess halted things on the stroke of the Millennium.

Now reformed and in recovery, a refocused Danny brought Clockwork back to Ibiza with a triumphant return in 2014. Ever since the Orange Army has returned once per summer for an extended weekend across multiple locations - and it brings its loyal crowd with it.

2023 marks 30 years of Clockwork Orange, so the band is being fired-up - quite literally.
