Since opening its doors, we have visited the wonderful Meliá Ibiza in Santa Eulalia many times and it always goes above and beyond. On this occasion, we were invited to spend a morning on the roof terrace as day guests. It turned into a welcomed mini break in the height of August that we were desperately seeking.
Upon arrival, we were promptly and warmly greeted, before being escorted to the roof terrace. Stepping out of the lift, we marvelled at the breathtaking panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea. After scoping our surroundings, we settled in our day bed where we spent the entire morning in blissful leisure.
The roof terrace of the Meliá Ibiza is the ideal place to disconnect and unwind. In some ways, it feels like a holiday within your holiday! We know that a busy week of activities, beach discovery and nightlife requires a lot of energy. Here you can really top it up.
The terrace is equipped with a bar serving snacks, cocktails and drinks, a communal seating area, sun loungers with parasols, Balinese beds and a fantastic infinity pool. We ordered the delicious cava sangria accompanied by a fruit platter - exquisite.
Being an adults only hotel, the atmosphere on the roof terrace is relaxed, soundtracked by chill out music in the background in true Ibiza style. A day spent on the Meliá Ibiza rooftop is undoubtedly as close to heaven as you can get on Ibiza.
