Ibiza Spotlight Weekly News 2020 ep07

This week we wanted to slow things down a little, so Katie Knight took to the sea aboard one of Ibiza’s finest boats, Saga Ibiza. Find out how she got on and how you can win this summer’s amazing prize draw.

Hi everyone, I'm Katie Knight and welcome back to Ibiza Spotlight News. After a few weeks out and about on the road, we thought it was time to slow things down a little and take a look at some of the great ways to enjoy the waters around Ibiza. So, today we are coming to you from this wonderful old Dutch schooner, called Saga, which is about to take us on a leisurely cruise, from here, the ferry terminal in San Antonio, all the way up the northwest coast of Ibiza to Cala D'Albarca.

So, we've just got on board but please make sure you watch until the end of the video when I'll be giving you some exciting news about our special summer prize draw, to win a deluxe weekend for 2 here on Ibiza.

Everyone who visits Ibiza spends some of their time enjoying the warm, shallow coves and rugged coastline of Ibiza and the best way to discover them is by boat.

Boat trips this year are as busy as ever and there are many different options to discover the waters around Ibiza and Formentera. Ibiza Spotlight has every angle covered, with many options of boats to choose from.

Discover Formentera leaves Ibiza Town while Es Vedrà and Formentera Cruise leaves from San Antonio. Both trips include a bus trip around Formentera, a paella lunch, a trip to one of the island's fabulous beaches before heading back, to the island, into the setting sun.

If you prefer the wind behind your sails, we have classic old sailing ships, such as Saga and Marco Polo Ibiza, to modern catamarans, such as Oceanbeat and jet skis tours will take you along this piece of coast to Ses Margalides or to the south over to Atlantis.

Almost all boat excursions will stop for a chance to swim and snorkel but, if you want to explore beneath the waves, the dive boats of Scuba Ibiza and Arenal Dive Centre are waiting to take you on subaquatic adventures.

Family groups will love taking a slow cruise on the beach-hopping, glass-bottom boats, which can give everyone an up-close view of life on the reefs and the sea floor.

Booking an excursion on Ibiza Spotlight is quick and easy. Just head over to the website, click ‘Things to Do', then ‘Boat Trips', choose a date for your excursion and add to basket. There is no need to register, simply input your card details, phone number and your email address.

Cancellation is just as easy too. You can cancel, free of charge, any time up to 24 hours before the activity is due to start. Simply log into ‘My Orders' on our homepage and manage your bookings. It's time to get booking that exciting excursion today!
