International Music Summit rings the changes for 2020

The conference moves to Destino, 20-22 May.

Long considered the unofficial curtain-raiser to the season, International Music Summit (IMS) has announced plans for 2020. Changes are in the air, as the conference moves to a new home.

Pacha-owned Destino in Cap Martinet will be its new home.

Three days of conversation, connection and celebration commence from 20 May. The Grand Finale party will still be held at Dalt Vila.

Organisers clearly felt that a new decade calls for a new dawn for the conference.

However, we don't anticipate much else changing, with the industry get together still promising to unite the electronic music ecosystem.

IMS's 13th edition will again be co-curated by diversity and inclusion suffragettes shesaid.so. Discussion on sustainability, wellness and equality will be central themes.

Founder Ben Turner had the following to say: "IMS remains a platform for debate that can inspire change. By moving to Destino, we've found an inspiration location to immerse and connect."

Delegate badges, including options to stay at Destino and spread payment over multiple instalments, are on sale now.
