Ibiza’s best wedding venues

Enjoy an unforgettable wedding reception in a world-class venue.

Every year hundreds of couples flock to Ibiza to seal their love for one another in a wedding or civil partnership ceremony in their favourite summer destination. To many, the aesthetic beauty of the island is the lure - what could be more romantic than marrying the love of your life beside the sea, in the shade of palm trees or in a picture-perfect church, surrounded by close friends and family? Perhaps it marks a return to the place where their romantic spark originally kindled.

The wedding industry here is thriving and there are many planners and concierge companies to help you turn every detail of your dreams into reality. Every detail can be catered for: accommodation, cars, flowers, cakes, hair, make-up, decoration, photography, professional entertainers and more.

For the religiously observant, Catholic or interdenominational weddings can be arranged at most of the iconic, white-painted churches on the island. For the non-religious, there are celebrants available to guide your service with wit, charm and a personal touch.

If it has always been your dream to host your wedding on Ibiza, our guide gives you a glimpse into some excellent wedding venues, many of which offer a complimentary planning service and have networks of suppliers. More can found in our Weddings and events' section.

A Mi Manera

Set within pretty nature, A Mi Manera offers a wonderfully natural and very romantic environment to hold your wedding. This restaurant is set in an old rustic Ibizan house, with lots of pretty outside terraced areas. Exclusive use of the restaurant can be secured for up to 120 guests or the garden area can be hired separately for around 40 people.

With a cuisine that's Italian- and Mediterannean-inspired, using lots of fresh home-grown ingredients as well as local products, the wedding menu is indisputably mouthwatering. Items like stuffed courgette flowers, octopus carpaccio, Grilled Black Angus steak or sea bass are all exquisitely prepared and presented. The restaurant can also help with everything from decorations to DJs.

Close your eyes and imagine holding hands with your lover, barely metres from the water gently lapping on the sand of a tranquil beach. At Aiyanna you can have up to one hundred guests dining on understated, rustic furniture in the shade of vividly, colourful canopies. Dancing barefoot on wooden decking or the sand to a live band or your favourite DJ as the moon rises from the sea. Truly living the laid-back, bohemian idyll.

The Aiyanna wedding menu incorporates the very best the Mediterranean has to offer, from East to West, with many sharing dishes served for your guests to share for a sense of informality and intimacy.

Amante is the mature, older sister of Aiyanna, offering a more formal fine-dining experience in a stunning location, overlooking the pretty cove of Sol d'en Serra. Elegantly spread over three levels, including the beach itself, Amante has become synonymous with stylish exclusivity, as weddings are restricted to a maximum of ten events each year.

The venue can cater for between 60 and 130 seated guests, with a selection of dishes from their a la carte menu. Amante's simple, yet sophisticated ethos is represented by their chef's interpretation of modern Spanish and Italian canapés and dishes, complemented by sumptuous desserts.

For the most magical, Ibizan hippy vibe possible, imagine a ceremony accompanied by the scent of jasmine flowers and the rhythm of drums on the sand of one of the island's favourite beaches, Benirras. At Elements restaurant your blessing could be anointed by the iconic rock, the Finger of God in a sunset ceremony in front of 150 seated guests.

Elements also has its own wedding planning service, dedicated to ensuring the spacious, rustic venue is beautifully decorated and that your day runs smoothly. The Element's chefs will be happy to provide a feast of Italian-inspired seafood, meat and pasta dishes, to be washed down by their skillfully blended cocktails.

Due to the secluded nature of the venue, it is possible to carry on celebrating and dancing in the elements until 03:00.

Nikki Beach Club

At this gorgeously stylish beach club, you can expect the very best in VIP service, an excellent food menu drawn from the venue's varied menu and most importantly lots of glamour. Located on the east coast outside Santa Eulalia, Nikki Beach Club directly overlooks the sea giving you an aquatic dreamscape.

Here the club really can be a blank canvas for your special day, with the international club brand able to offer everything from candlelit pathways, a super-long guest table or helicopter delivered confetti bombs. Then, of course, there's the pool area with the large all-white sunbeds, the pool itself for a pre-reception warm-up, an excellent choice of wines and champagnes all in a place that screams chic.

Catering for a more youthful crowd with smaller budgets, Rio Ibiza is a venue, which offers numerous possibilities for a fun and funky wedding. Spread over three floors, from the streetside restaurant lounge bar to the rooftop cocktail terrace overlooking the marina of San Antonio, a wedding here would convince even the most curmudgeonly old relative to get into the Ibiza spirit.

Rio Ibiza can seat up to 60 guests for the ceremony and dinner, serving guests a colourful choice of favourite Mediterranean and Asian dishes. Plus you can party on until dawn in its amazingly well-equipped, private disco.

Sa Capella

It is hard to think of more achingly romantic surroundings than this deconsecrated chapel, just outside San Antonio. Sa Capella is an Ibizan institution appealing both to young and old and simply oozes medieval charm with its massively thick walls and intimate nooks.

The Maitre D and a team of uniformed companions will be on hand to ensure every guest at your ceremony is attended with the utmost in courteous professionalism for which the restaurant is renowned.

The wedding dinner menu upholds the finest tradition of Ibizan cuisine, with many modern flourishes, highlighting fine cuts of meat and freshly caught fish. Accompanied by fine wines, champagnes and their famous home-made Hierbas Ibicencas digestive, there will be plenty of opportunities to salute the happy couple.

Sa Punta

Marry like a glamorous '60s film star, sipping champagne cocktails on the pristine white decks of Sa Punta restaurant in Talamanca. Your guests will enjoy one of the most evocative views of all Ibiza. With uninterrupted views of the walled citadel across the bay and crystalline waters which glitter in the daytime and shimmer with the city lights at night, Sa Punta is undoubtedly one of the most privileged locations on the island.

There is enormous scope to design the perfect wedding banquet for your special day, as the innovative kitchens at Sa Punta produce fine-dining dishes with influences as diverse as France, Lebanon or Asia. Sa Punta also boasts the most diverse wine cellar on the island, too, which makes pairing with your menu easy. Ideally, we would recommend that you visit these places before making the final decision.
