International Football comes to Ibiza

Spain's U17 squad will host Italy's U17s at the Can Misses Stadium on January 21st 2015

In preparation for the Elite Round of the European Championship taking place in March in Spain, the Spanish national team's Under 17 squad will grace Ibiza's Can Misses Stadium as they host a strong Italian outfit. The match will take place on Wednesday January 21st 2015, kick off 7pm and is sure to be a good test for both sides ahead of their respective competitive fixtures in Spring.

Spain's group in the Elite Round includes France, Sweden and Israel, whilst Italy face Germany, Slovakia and Ukraine. Two qualification places in each group are up for grabs for the main European Championship tournament to be held in Bulgaria in May.

The Spanish are hoping to continue their good form from Autumn 2014, having won six succesive games, including all three of their qualifiers in October in Slovakia.

Tickets for the match are available for only 2€ and available from all football clubs across the island, offering excellent value and a rare opportunity to see future world class players in the flesh. Players such as Cesc Fabregas, David Silva, Isco and Bojan have all passed through this age group for the Spanish national team, so you can expect many of these players to become stars in the not to distant future.
