Like most of the rest of the western world Ibiza dwellers pack their bags and leave the island for a well-earned Easter break. Travel agents report a mass exodus by boat and plane with the most popular destination being Andalucia, where they really go to town celebrating Easter.
Meanwhile it has been announced that the Island Council will celebrate its 25th Anniversary by giving a concert at the Recinto Ferial exhibition centre on 21st May.
The star of the show will be Spain's Eurovision song contest representative Rosa, and we wondered if there was any connection between this announcement and the weekend's mass exodus?
