Wed 12 Aug, 2026, from 17:00
Where: Balearic Outdoor Adventures
On Wednesday evening 12 August 2026, the Balearic Islands will be graced by two Wonders of Nature within only a few hours difference: just before sunset, a total solar eclipse - the first full solar eclipse visible on the Balearics since 1999 -, and once night has fallen, the Perseid Meteor Shower.
The outdoor activities specialists at Balearic Outdoor Adventures have organised a very special outing; an evening-into-nighttime excursion to witness both the solar eclipse as well as the stargazing later to observe the Perseids, the meteor shower that every year lights up the summer night sky.
Join these experienced guides on this magnificent adventure that includes an easy to moderate hike to a remote spot far away from any light pollution early in the evening, where you'll watch the solar eclipse first, followed by stargazing for a good few hours in the middle of the warm midsummer night.
If you want to experience something extra special that only happens once in your lifetime, don't hesitate to book your hiking spot now - places are limited!
Starting time: 17:00 until late
Difficulty: medium
Maximum participants: 10 people
Price per person: €100 including VAT and insurance.
