Jazz Point Ibiza is once again bringing some of the biggest names on the international jazz scene to perform here in Ibiza. This is the fifth annual Jazz Point Festival, and it will run from 10 to 13 October.
David Moss and Adam Lenox of the Ibiza Music Agency work together with Joel Chriss Productions in New York to create these special events that are dedicated to making our island an important part of the international jazz scene.
The four-day event will stage performances island wide.
Thursday, 10 October:
17:00 Opening Party Jam Session at WOM Radio Café in Santa Eulalia, led by local star Andrés Coll, who will be joined on stage by several of the Jazz Point international headliners, among them Su Terry, Charles Owens, Albino Mbie, Santi Debriano, Rob Clearfield and several others.

At 19:30, the fun moves to the roof terrace of The Standard, Ibiza, on the main square in Ibiza Town, Vara de Rey, with a performance by the Albino Mbie & Santi Debriano Duo. From 21:30 onward, the party continues into the night in The Standard’s Jara Restaurant, as Andrés Coll returns to once again jam with the international stars (see above).

Friday, 11 October:
On the following night at 21:00 the beat goes on in Ibiza Town at Teatro Ibiza - the island’s iconic home to live music. The famed headliners Su Terry & Charles Owens will lead a sextet of talented international stars.

Saturday, 12 October:
On Saturday Jazz Point will present two exciting shows - one in the afternoon and another in the evening.
At 14:30, at Parco Ibiza in San Antonio, the international Albino Mbie Sextet combines the essence of several musical traditions to create a uniquely authentic sound.

At 21:00, back at Teatro Ibiza in Ibiza Town the award-winning jazz guitarist Rob Luft will lead a talented Quintet on the stage.

Sunday, 13 October:
At 12:00, at the cultural centre Can Ventosa in Ibiza Town, join the grand finale to this scintillating spectacle with a free performance by the Big Band Ciutat D’Eivissa, under the direction of Vicent Tur.
They will be playing a repertoire based on famous jazz standards, some of which are arranged by the director.
