Tourist Day

A special day to thank the visitors to the island.

September marks the end of the season, and with it, the islanders celebrate the Tourist Day as a big 'thank you' to all visitors to the island for choosing it as their holiday destination.

Find below the activities scheduled for 2023: 

  • IBIZA TOWN

Thursday 21 September - join the three guided tours: two in Dalt Vila, one in English (10:00 h) and one in Spanish (19:00 h), and another in the Necropolis of Puig des Molins from 11:00 to 12:30 h. There is also a kayak and snorkelling excursion on Figueretes beach from 16:00 to 18:30 h, a tasting of local produce at the Mercat Nou from 11:00 to 14:00 h and live music in the Plaza del Parque and Vara de Rey from 19:00 h. The neighbourhood of La Marina will be decorated with 1000 candles and there will also be live music in front of the II Gatto e la Volpe restaurant. 

Wednesday 27 September - as part of International Tourism Day, there will be a guided tour along Ses Feixes, astronomical observation in Talamanca and live music performances throughout the city.

  • SANTA EULALIA

Thursday 21 September - enjoy an open day at the Ethnographic Museum of Can Ros and embark on five excursions to places like Es Canar, Cala Llonga or the Santa Eulalia river on foot, by electric bike, mini train, boat or paddle surf. At 21:00 h, in front of the Santa Eulalia Town Hall, in Cala Llonga and Es Canar, there will be an exhibition of traditional dancing and live music.

  • SAN JOSÉ

Thursday 21 September - various excursions will take you to some of the most iconic spots of the municipality from 10:00 h. These include walking routes around Sant Francesc and boat trips to the antural reserve of Es Vedrà. There will also be tastings of local products and a craft market in Playa d'en Bossa from 18:00 to midnight.

  • SAN ANTONIO

Wednesday 27 September visit the Biotechnological Botanical Park at 11:00 h, as well as embark on a maritime excursion to the north of the municipality, also at 11:00. At the Far de Ses Coves Blanques, you can visit the art exhibition "Re-velar" by Marcela Gutiérrez. In the evening, there will be traditional dances at Caló des Moro.

  • SAN JUAN

Thursday 21 September guided walk at 10:00 h from the Puerto de San Miguel to the Torre del Molar.
