As part of the celebrations marking the 40th anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Balearic Islands, the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands is offering a series of concerts on each of the islands.
In Ibiza, the event will take place on Saturday 25 March at 20:00 h at the Palacio de Congresos de Ibiza, located in the municipality of Santa Eulalia.
This is a joint concert by the Symphony Orchestra and several artists from the islands, including the well-known Ibizan band Ressonadors, which performs versions of traditional songs from Ibiza, as well as the Menorcan musician and composer Cris Juanico and Maria del Mar Bonet, known singer and composer from Mallorca, always closely linked to the folklore of her homeland.
Tickets cost 5 € and can be purchased online or at the door the same day of the event. All proceeds will go to the people affected by the earthquake in Turkey and Syria.
