Pou des Lleó - Cala Boix - Hippie Market "Las Dalias" - San Carlos
Departing from Club Cala Llenya Resort at 15.20 and Club Cala Azul at 15:30, this 3-hour excursion visits two of the northeast's finest beaches - Pou des Lleó and Cala Boix - and the famed Las Dalias Hippie Market. After an 80-minute stop there, it's on to the picturesque village of San Carlos - where you can admire the 18th Century church and enjoy a tipple of the local speciality hierbas in the island's oldest bar, Bar Anita. En route, you can enjoy glimpses of one of the island's seven ancient pirate lookout towers and the intriguing sight of the island of Tagomago (see if you can make out the contours of a whale from which its name derived), some two kms offshore. In the meantime, relax and take pleasure in the the natural beauty of this corner of the island as you travel its rustic byways in the company of the train's informative hosts.
