Pre-club Bars in Ibiza
A very important part of the Ibiza club scene are the many music bars around the island, where clubbers go to warm-up for their coming nights out, or to listen to music and dance in a more relaxed (and cheaper) atmosphere.
Most of these bars have free entry and cheaper drinks, but still have great local (and guest) DJs spinning the same tunes you will hear out in the clubs. You only need 20 or 30 people to create a really great atmosphere, and these are often the scene for many a legendary night out.
If, after a hard day at the beach, you fancy starting your evening early - around 7 or 8 pm - a great favourite is to visit San Antonio, or the Bay, and enjoy the Sunset over a chilled glass of Sangria (sorry... Vodka Lemon of course).
So just what are these sunset cafés?
Later on it's off to hear some proper tunes in one of the many pre-club bars around the island - and you really are spoiled for choice. Just mosy on down the centre of town (wherever you are staying) and you'll be beset with offers of free chupitos (shots), club tickets and more.
