If you thought that Formentera was out of reach, then you'll be excited to hear that Aquabus is running this trip to Ibiza's smaller sister island every Tuesday and Friday.

The trip includes a bus tour of Formentera, a paella lunch at a local restaurant and time to discover Es Pujols, the main seaside resort. With Aquabus you get affordable and magical trips from a well-established firm with a true family feeling.

The following timetable is orientative and may be subject to change depending on the time of year:

  • At 10:15 the excursion to Formentera departs from Playa d'en Bossa in the low season*. The crossing to this pretty island takes just under one hour.
  • At 11:30, upon arrival at La Savina, the port of Formentera, you take the local bus to the highest viewpoint on the island and the imposing La Mola lighthouse, stopping at Es Caló and a viewpoint.
  • At 13:30, the bus drops you off in the village of San Francisco for lunch at a local restaurant which includes a salad, paella, dessert, and drink (all included in the ticket price). After lunch you have time to stroll through the village or go for a coffee or an ice cream in one of the small bars.
  • At 15:30 the bus will take you to the beautiful, crystal clear waters of the resort of Es Pujols. There you can enjoy the beach or stroll along the promenade and do a little shopping.
  • At 17:15. the bus will take you past the salt lakes back to the port of La Savina.
