What club action is there to look forward to this week ?

It’s September and that can only mean one thing – closing parties !

gatecrasher flyerAnd the first closing party of the season takes place this Tuesday, when Dave Pearce closes out the summer for Gatecrasher.

It’s been an interesting summer for Gatecrasher at Eden this year, with some mixed reviews coming in from Spotlight clubbers but it was always going to be a tough season after enjoying a really successful 2006.

Dave Pearce is joined by Marcel Woods for the closing bash on Tuesday 4 September.

Also on Tuesday, Carl Cox invites yet another dj legend to Space for what should be a storming party. Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) is in town and is always good value for something rather special.

And if that wasn’t enough, he’s also joined by Josh Wink and LTJ Bukem, and of course Carl Cox for what we can only describe as a mouthwatering line-up.

Talking of good line-ups, Cream on Thursday 6 September brings us two dj’s at the top of their game right now.

Paul van Dyk makes his penultimate appearance this summer in the main room, while Swedish ‘mafioso’ Steve Angello will be entertaining the Amnesia terrace (below).

Over at El Divino on Friday and Saturday night is Miss Moneypenny’s and Hed Kandi respectively, where you really ought to go for a top night of quality house and uplifting club classics.

Situated by the marina in Ibiza Town, the views are almost as good looking as the girls you’ll find grooving on the dancefloor.

Meganite is the full on techno session brought to you by Mauro Picotto, over at Privilege every Wednesday. This week, should you want to see why this versatile Italian has so many fans, you’ll also be treated to an electro treat, as John Acquaviva returns to mix it up.

And finally, Sunday 9 September will see us taking a regular trip to Space, where we’re looking forward to another quality We Love Space party.

Hot Chip - not to be missed at We Love Space

In particular, we’re looking forward to seeing a debut appearance from the brilliant Hot Chip, an electro-pop band from the UK, who we hope will entertain us ‘over and over’ !
