Cream Classical Live heads to Belfast this summer

K-Klass set to curate Cream's biggest classical outdoor show yet.

Replacing the DJ booth with a conductor and a live orchestra is a novelty that we've been loving for the best part of two years. Pete Tong got in there first with BBC Radio 1's Ibiza Proms in 2015, and since then, there's been no end of string-led action.

Last year, Cream got in on the game and gathered clubbers round the orchestra pit for an onslaught of house and trance anthems, and it was nothing short of epic. This year, the classical revamps aren't going anywhere, and Cream today announced that it'd be taking the show to Northern Ireland this summer for the biggest Cream Classical Live show yet.

Not only will it be the biggest – with 15,000 tickets up for grabs – but for the first time, we'll be seeing this bad boy al fresco, so the summer air can caress our jubilant faces. Belfast's Ormeau Park is the location, and on Saturday 17 June, we'll see K-Klass' selected tracks come to life at the hands of conductor, Tim Crooks, with his symphony orchestra and guest vocalists.

Tickets go on sale this Friday. For more info on the event, get yourself onto Cream's Facebook event page.
