Space Ibiza 25th anniversary

We've never been so excited about the opening of a carpark in our lives...

Space Ibiza is celebrating 25 years of clubbing heritage this season, with special sets from jocks who have been a part of the Space story over the years, mixed with the new-school of current artists who are shaping the sound of this season.

Pepe Roselló is the man behind Space Ibiza as we know it today. He took over the club back in 1989, although the venue as such did exist as some form of gathering point for the gay and hippie communities on the island that had been coming since the 60s before this point and even existed as a concert hall just before Pepe took ownership. Pepe transformed the club into the behemoth we know and love today over the years, taking influence from a few rebellious people who were involved in the likes of Pacha, Amnesia and Es Paradis in fighting against the authorities.

The date for the party will be Sunday 13th July from 4:30pm until very late.

The following full list of artists - Agoria, Alfredo, Amp+ Deck, Annie Mac, Camilo Franco, Carl Craig, César De Melero, David Moreno, DJ Elias, DJ Suspect, Erick Morillo (exclusive Ibiza appearance 4 hours set), Fatboy Slim, Iban Mendoza, Igor Marijuan, Javi Bora, Jimmy Edgar, Jonathan Tena, Jonathan Ulysses, Jose De Divina, Jose Padilla, Layo & Bushwacka, Dr. M2M (Live), Marco Loco, Mr. Doris, Nick Curly, Nina Kraviz, Paul Reynolds, Ramon Castells, Remo, Shaun Reeves, Skream b2b Route 94, Tensnake (Live), Tiefschwarz and Toni Moreno.

The highlights for the line-up include a very special and exclusive performance from Erick Morillo which will see him play for 4 hours, the famous Café del Mar DJ José Padilla, one of the first Ibiza resident DJs and current Space regular DJ Alfredo, Normak Cook aka Fatboy Slim, Layo & Bushwacka reunited again, a live performance from Tensnake, brotherly duo Tiefschwarz, techno stalwart Carl Craig and the inimitable Nina Kraviz.

More big news for the party includes the Flight Area (illustrious Space carpark) being opened up. This is something that has only ever happened for the opening and closing fiestas so we are absolutely buzzing for some mid-summer outdoor action at Space - camo netting and all!

They say there will be more surprise additions to the line-up, yet to be announced. So watch this space (seriously, no pun intended.)
