After being the backbone of Jamie Jones' sonic identity since he broke Ibiza in the early 2010s, Hot Creations is forever associated with summers on the island - and rightfully so. The two just go hand-in-hand. The opening bars from a number of tracks are enough to transport you here.
Now, in 2026, the label embarks on its first official Ibiza residency, taking over Playa Soleil for a string of Friday afternoons that go from daylight to darkness, rolling into the late evening.
Hot Creations' back-catalogue is a goldmine of the most memorable dance music anthems of the last decade and a half. Many of tracks defined summers. For those of us who came of age around the same time, some of them are recognisable as soundtracking our whole youth.

Alongside the old favourites, Hot Creations continues to add to its resumé but releasing some of the most forward-leaning music in the House domain. It's those newer releases from the post-pandemic era that will showcase in this feature.
(Fans of its older material should stay tuned for part two...)
The five tracks we have selected include several from DJs on the line-up for the first party on Friday 3 July, as well as one from the boss himself. Like we could leave him out! This is the sound of Hot Creations: modern classics. We're sure we'll be hearing some of these next month.
1. Locky & Mad.Again | Sweat | 2026
Locky and Mad.Again are two leaders of the new school making waves are . One of the first big tracks of the year, they combine on Sweat to send perspiration levels soaring on the dancefloor. This one is gonna sound great inside Playa Soleil as the Mercury peaks.
2. Manda Moor | Picante (Sirius Hood Remix) | 2023
Mood Child co-owners Manda Moor and Sirius Hood unite on Hot Creations, for our next pick. The remix emphasises the original's oscillating drum loop, as percussion stabs are brought to the fore. Yeah, this one's got a spicy kick, reaching Carolina Reaper heights on the Scoville Test.
3. Fleur Shore | Bret (Heads Down) | 2025
Fleur Shore has really found her groove as a producer.
A homage to Amsterdam's notorious after-hours venue BRET (ADE attendees will know!), Heads Down is a trippy roller custom-made for that twilight period between 06:00 and sunrise. Just when you need an extra injection of energy, here it comes.
4. Joe Rolét | No Hesitating | 2025
Joe Rolét spend years on the periphery of London's club scene, quietly but diligently going about his business. Aside from an outing on INFUSE, the majority of his output had been released via his own vinyl imprint Planetary Notions.
All that changed last year, when the Rinse FM was thrust into the spotlight after Hot Creations picked up No Hesitating. The track went on to become one of 2025's sleeper hits. In the time since, Joe's profile has skyrocketed and the bookings are starting to flow.
It underlined the impact that a hit track can have on your career, even years deep. An inspiration for producers still hoping to break through. Keep grinding.
5. Jamie Jones | Murder Mystery | 2025
While the boss might not be quite as prolific on the production front as he was back in the day, last year's Murder Mystery was a timely reminder that JJ is still capable of making dancefloor weapons. If you're a fan of this, then we also encourage you to check-out Kolter's remix.
Agatha Christie would be proud of this one, but no need to second-guess who done it? It's Jamie.
Keep your eyes (and ears!) peeled for part two, dropping soon.
