Las Dalias' concert series, Las Dalias – Live Music, launches its 2026 programme with one of the most distinctive and rapidly rising acts on the Spanish music scene, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana. The band will open this new edition on Thursday, 16 April, in the garden at Las Dalias, marking their first visit to the island.
Hailing from the remote region of La Siberia in Extremadura, Sanguijuelas del Guadiana have transformed rural nostalgia into a powerful and original musical language that resonates with an entire generation.
Their sound weaves together images of pilgrimages, rustic landscapes, and the Guadiana river with contemporary elements such as new flamenco, electronics and autotune, creating a unique blend of intimacy and collective vitality. Rich in local identity, their songs read like stories of returning to one's roots, quickly becoming anthems for their listeners.
In May 2025, they released Revolá (Infarto Producciones), their debut album. Co-produced by Carlos Canelada and Jorge González (of Vetusta Morla fame), the conceptual work has cemented the band's place on the national scene. The album is notable for its raw honesty, infectious energy, and its ability to bridge past and present.
The band's live presence has been a driving force behind their rapid ascent. After closing 2025 with over 100 concerts on their "Verbena en Vena" tour, the trio - comprising Carlos, Juan, and Víctor - enter 2026 with lots of momentum, including three consecutive sold-out shows at Madrid's La Riviera. On stage, their contagious energy turns every performance into a celebration of common experience.
This first concert of the series, starting at 20:00, will mark the beginning of a programme that once again positions Las Dalias as a leading live music destination in Ibiza, reinforcing its longstanding commitment to a diverse, carefully curated artistic offering deeply connected to the island's multicultural soul.
