Sharing the sentiment of everyone who comes to see them play at Our House on Wednesday nights at Hï Ibiza, Meduza confess they Don't Wanna Go Home on their new single.
The last track of the night is always a double-edged sword. Whilst, yes, it's the pay-off of energy and togetherness amassed over the course of the night, at the same time, it's a shared refusal to accept that the party has come to a natural conclusion.
It's that all-too-familiar feeling amongst clubbers that Grammy-nominated trio Meduza have sought to capture on their latest single. Featuring the vocals of Henry Camamile, it's not a coincidence that Don't Wanna Go Home has been put out midweek during Miami Music Week.
We're sure there will be plenty of revellers this strikes a chord with in Downtown over the next few days. As there will be on Ibiza too, from 27 May to 30 September, when Luca, Mattia and Simone return to The Theatre alongside James Hype.
An act with multiple chart hits and platinum records, Meduza have become a global success since they debuted with Piece Of Your Heart in 2019.
"We wanted to create something that really captured a moment we experience almost every time we play. At the end of a set, when the lights come up and the night is technically over, there are always people in the crowd who just don't want it to end.
They start chanting 'one more song, one more song' and there’s this shared feeling in the room where everyone wants to hold onto the energy of the night for just a little longer.
The track is meant to feel like an anthem for that exact moment: the final stretch of the night when everyone is still locked in." We know the feeling all too well.
