International Music Summit (IMS) week is nearly here. Can you believe it, it’s now just three weeks away? As if your calendar isn't already in chaos, Chinois Ibiza is about to make decision-making that little bit more complicated...
From Wednesday 22 April, the Chinois schedule is looking hella busy. The club hosts a whopping five parties from 22 to 26 April, with Friday 24 April being the date the party rolls from Dalt Vila, straight down hill to Ibiza Marina for the official After Party hosted by Appetite.
Appetite founders Elliot Schooling & Liam Palmer and right-hand man Samuel Newman extend their partnership with the annual curtain-raiser by looking after the action at Chinois by night, in addition to programming and playing at the earlier Grand Finale celebrations.
The London-based underground party is a brand that has grown from an intimate crowd of mates, into a widely-loved promotion, label and 20,000 capacity festival. Elliot and Liam are clearly not in the business of doing things quietly. You could say they've got an insatiable appe-never mind.
A diverse line-up of sounds and artists await at Chinois, as platinum record holding Eliza Rose, rising Sunderland star L.P. Rhythm, burgeoning singer/DJ Delilah and NYC collective Indo Warehouse join the Essex lads in the booth on the night.
Don't forget, this party is just of many this weekend, so pick your battles wisely. Pace yourself. Give yourself. Eat well and stay hydrated. IMS only comes once a year. Savour every moment.
