Joseph Capriati is the latest DJ to get a suite dedicated to him at Ocean Drive Ibiza. A regular guest at the hotel, this tribute recognises his contribution to Ibiza's globally recognised club scene as well as his wider impact on the island.
Part of the Made of Music, Made of Moments campaign that ties in with the hotel group's 25th anniversary and its commitment to merging music and hospitality, the suite was officially unveiled on 11 June.
Within this exclusive space, his suite includes unique details, such as a selection of personal photos, a display case with his first headphones and a series of vinyl records signed by the artist. Each item has been chosen to reflect his career journey and constant evolution in music.
He joins an exclusive club of DJs, who have been honoured in similar fashion. They include Kerri Chandler, John Digweed and Armin van Buuren.
The launch culminated in Joseph Capriati performing a private DJ set in front of media, close friends and hotel guests at the OD Sky Bar on the hotel's rooftop.
This tribute marks the start of an exciting summer for Capriati, in which he brings his Metamorfosi party to Hï Ibiza for the first time. The 14-week residency starts on 4 July.
Before that, he warms up this weekend in Barcelona with two Metamorfosi parties during OFF-WEEK. There, he will be joined by Chris Stussy, Loco Dice, Rossi., Prospa, Cristina Lazic and more.
Most of those same DJs are confirmed for Hï Ibiza too, with at least one more special guest still to be revealed.
