Melodic Techno playlist takeover | Tube & Berger for The Masquerade

We hand control of the aux lead to the Kittball label heads ahead of their date at Pacha.

Better known as Tube & Berger, Arndt Roerig and Marko Vidovic are a DJ and production duo from Germany. Alongside Juliet Sikora, they run Kittball Records. Released on Suara in 2014, their track Imprint Of Pleasure is ranked as one of Beatport's all-time best sellers.

Although having made their name at the height of the 2012 to 2014 Deep House era, more recently Tube & Berger have moved with the trends, inching up the tempo and playing altogether more diverse sets.

Following two previous appearances earlier in summer, Tube & Berger return to Claptone's The Masquerade at Pacha for the penultimate date. For an insight into what you might hear on 7 October, the duo kindly provided us with a playlist takeover.

Here are six tracks they've been playing.

Tube & Berger's Melodic Techno playlist takeover

Tube & Berger and RBBN | Fade Away | Kittball Records

"Fade Away came out this year and we played it all summer long, all over the world and received great feedback. A little bit of Indie vocals mixed with some nice rolling bass groove is needed to get the night of mystery and imagination started."

Adriatique & WhoMadeWho | Miracle | Rose Avenue

"As we move fast, we need to slow down. All our sets are kind of a journey which includes highs and lows. But lows are not negative in any way, because that's the time to look around and recognise The Masquerade vibe, the feeling and make these unforgettable memories."

Catz 'N Dogz & Nala | Me Me Me | Diynamic

"We've been to the White Island so many times and it's always good to have some good heavy-hitting tunes like Me Me Me" to get the crowd really dancing and sweating. That's all they want in that super hot night at Claptone's The Masquerade, right?"

Tripolism, Nandu & Radeckt | Dope Dance | Ultra

"An absolute dance anthem, including instruments and basslines which reminds us of old big bouncy days. It's all about the dance!"

Low Steppa & Crusy | This Is The Sound | DFTD

"No intro needed. Proper Tech House with a little Afro feeling, which makes a night at Pacha just perfect. Any questions? Good - just dance to the sound and let's get bananas!"

Tube & Berger and Nick Schwenderling | Daft Disco

"On Daft Disco we collaborated with our good broski Nick, who is an up and coming artist and managed to get attention from heavyweights like Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. Everything is moving faster, so why not push it a bit more on 132 bpm dancefloor bangers?"
