Since its last announcement, Amnesia's has kept unusually quiet about further details of its 12-hour Closing Festival. Well, its silence has lasted long enough. The line-up for Saturday 15 October has dropped in full.
After slaying The Terrace each and every week at Paradise, Jamie Jones is the next headline act. He joins the previously announced Chemical Brothers.
Overall, The Terrace has a familiar feel with club residents Mar-T and Caal playing back-to-back, Marco Faraone, Eats Everything and a special "versus" set from Paul Woolford. He'll clash with alter-ego Special Request in a split-personality, one-man b2b. That should be interesting.
Another of Ibiza 2022's break-out stars, Vintage Culture, is also invited.
The Chems will play from 21:00 to midnight, while Jamie Jones gets an extended set and is widely expected to close the night.
JJ's inclusion means we get a similar look to last year's scaled-down closing, as well as Amnesia's season opener this year. Given Paradise has been one of 2022's runaway success stories, his presence was all but confirmed.
Across in the Main Room, things get decidedly Techno, as has become customary.
Nina Kraviz, Kobosil and Luca Donzelli provide the firepower there. You know what to expect - fast-paced, underground dance music that pushes the limits.
Did you think it was quiet on the closing party front? Ha. As if! Things are steamrolling downhill now. In fact, we have a month to go until we're waving goodbye to another summer at Amnesia.
This one is a verifiable sell-out in the making. Let's face it, everybody who's anybody is going to be there too. One last marathon party to end the season on a high.
