UPDATE FRIDAY 25 SEPTEMBER: The rescheduled date will be Tuesday 12 October

Highly successful Spanish-language book Balearic: An Oral History Of Club Culture In Ibiza gets its long-awaited island premiere next week.

Where else could such an event take place, but Pikes Ibiza? The Ibiza institution, which gets mentioned more than once in the publication, will host the event on Tuesday 21 September.

Published in 2020, the book has won admirers from all corners of the industry on its detailed depiction of the scene here on the island.

Authors Luís Costa and Len Christian will both be in attendance and take part in a panel, chaired and moderated by Ibiza Sonica Radio's Andy Wilson.

DJ Pippi, Leo Mas, DJ Oliver, David Moreno, Igor Marijuan and Valentino Huedo are amongst the confirmed names of DJs playing.

Other notable faces teased for the day, include Pepe Roselló, Danny Whittle and Pikes' own Dawn Hindle. The all day celebration also promises numerous guests from Ibiza's musical history.

Music runs midday to 19:00 at poolside, before the discussion 19:00-20:30. Finally, we'll move to the sunset terrace for a cocktail courtesy of Goldtooth Vermouth and closing sets.

Access is free, but reservation is essential.
