Ibiza Spotlight selects: best boat charters for 2020

Take to the seas and love the boat life.

Everyone it seems loves the boat life and the seas here make for a terrific playground for nautical adventures. Chartering a boat is one of the best ways to enjoy crystal-clear waters of both Ibiza and Formentera.

Now with slightly cooler temperatures in September and October and even early November, the time to charter a boat could not be better.

If your idea of a boat trip is more Kon-Tiki than glitterati you'll love the Saga sailing boat, where you can enjoy great service from the smartly dressed crew. Your journey takes you up via the rugged northwest coast of Ibiza, sailing past the Margalides islets up to the dramatic Cala D'Albarca, where you'll stop for a swim. Utopia Ibiza has boats that are great for large groups of friends, from 10 to 100 passengers, for the generous price of €45 per person, which includes sangria, cava and beer and you can bring your own food, keeping the price even lower. Explore pretty beaches like Cala Salada and Cala Bassa with plenty of swim stops in the open sea with daytime or sunset trip. Top sound systems are perfect for blasting your favourite tunes.

Marco Polo IBIZA

Porroig Bay

Captain Jack Sparrow himself would love a trip on the Marco Polo Ibiza, an old smuggler's vessel.
