Gallery: Kraftwerk takeover Ushuaïa for Cocoon20

The robots caused a storm on 13 September.

Cocoon's 20th season has been a whopper.

Triumphantly returning to its spiritual home of Amnesia, we've witnessed some special moments during the homecoming. Sven Väth and his techno troupe then also visited Benimussa Park and Underground for an infamous afters and an exclusive all night long set, respectfully.

Back in May, the Cocoon gang made their way to Ushuaïa for a special date with dance music legends, Underworld. This day to night bash went down a treat and kicked off summer with gusto.

Following the success of this open-air fiesta, all eyes were fixed on the late summer return. If Underworld was colossal, then the booked headline act was a groundbreaking one.

Famously known for critically and commercially acclaimed albums Autobahn, Trans-Europe Express and The Man-Machine, this act made would make its Ibiza debut at the second Cocoon20 event.

Welcome electronic music pioneers, Kraftwerk.

Right from the word go, Seth Troxler promised an evening of excitement. His signature off-kilter record selections were well received by the crowd. Unfortunately, the weather had proved tempermental all week. With black clouds forming overhead, the inevitable happened.

Despite the heavens opening, people danced away in good spirits as Sven continued to play without pause. Not even mother nature could halt this party.

Fortunately, the wet spell was short-lived and the loyal audience was rewarded with clear skies by the time Kraftwerk took to the stage.

Watching the spectacle through retro-style 3D glasses, we were treated to such hits as Computer World, The Model, Radioactivity and many more. For those in attendance, it was a special night that instantly claimed its spot in Ibiza's history books.

Unbelievably, the Cocoon20 season is almost at a close. However, there's still one more chance to catch the techno gang at Amnesia for the closing party on 30 September.

On the terrace, Sven Väth is joined by fashionista Peggy Gou, whilst in the club room Adam Beyer, Ilario Alicante and ANNA take command of the dance floor. You can be a part of this legendary night by heading here for info and ticketing.
