A Can Lluc table set for a banquet

The pretty rural boutique hotel, Can Lluc, is host to a brand new charity event taking place on 12 March. The three course lunch will showcase delicious dishes from Ibiza and Formentera with a modern twist.

Funds raised will be donated to the Elena Torres Gutiérrez Association Against Cancer which funds young scientists for the advancement of cancer research.

Located in the beautiful countryside, this will make a stunning setting for a gastronomic extravaganza. The event is a collaboration with the highly regarded restaurant Sa Brisa. It is undoubtedly going to be a real treat for the taste buds.

Created by Sa Brisa's renowned chef, Gonzalo Araguëz, the menu will tantalise you with dishes such as artichoke hearts with kimchi sauce and pistachios or slow cooked Black Angus rib of beef with handmade Japanese pasta and consommé of suckling pig known as porc negré in Ibiza.

Dessert will be a sumptuous creamy chocolate heart with peach and apricot designed to leave diners with sweet memories. The menu covers a range of traditional local classics reinvented for the modern diner.

The jewellery designer Adlib Elisa Pomer has designed a very special bracelet for the event and these unique pieces will be sold on the day. There will also be a raffle with lots of interesting prizes on offer.
