Las dos Lunas plays out summer in style

Iconic venue, fine Italian food and shades of Autumn

There's still time to discover Las dos Lunas as the 2016 season draws to a close. The restaurant is open all the way up to the end of October giving you time to make a date with this iconic venue, the haunt of celebrities, artists and the international fashion set. With all the imminent club closing parties, you have the perfect spot to start the night before travelling the short distance to neighbouring night spots Amnesia or Privilege - you can even leave your car parked at the restaurant and walk.

For those Ibiza regulars who haven't yet sat hidden within the restaurant's rustic stone walls in the surroundings of its enchanting terrace, bar or inside dining area, this is the place to come for true and authentic Italian cuisine. Those who are well acquainted with this island institution include a long line of the rich and famous – from Mick Jagger to the King of Spain, Kate Moss to Grace Jones and George Michael – through to every DJ worth their salt.

Since it first opened its doors in 1981 at the hands of owner Massimo Lucarini, it quickly became a blueprint for dining in style on the White Isle. Aesthetically, the restaurant embodies the essence of Ibiza with a lush garden design that welcomes guests to dine under the grape vines, bougainvilleas and ambient lighting.

Loyal and international customers have been heard laying claim to Las dos Lunas being their favourite dining spot. The setting is of course a key element of this level of recognition, but it's also in the freshness and quality of the ingredients and produce. This can be tasted in the home cooked pastas and desserts, choice cuts of meat and fresh fish, freshly baked bread and focaccia, and the vegetables that are picked daily from their own organic vegetable garden.

As well as the outside terrace, with its pretty plants now transforming into cosy shades of ochre and golden yellow, the restaurant boasts an indoor dining area, perfect for special event dinners, celebrations, small weddings and intimate gatherings.

The restaurant is open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) right up to 31 October, so now's the time to book to enjoy this unique and legendary venue for a special 2016 Ibiza night out.
