Pirate CD's Smashed

The Guardia Civil have mounted their first operation of the year against counterfeit goods

The Guardia Civil have mounted their first operation of the year against counterfeit goods and their walking salesmen. They have dismantled a pirate CD factory in Cala de Bou and confiscated CDs with a street value of €20,000 together with their Senegalese Looky-Looky man owner.

This came as a terrible shock to the Spotlight team who live in that area and whose only experience of piratical activity was at the Jolly Roger Cavern bar! We have consulted our own Pirate CD - Wey Hey, Blow the Man Down, by Long John and the Silvers - and come up with some possible punishments for Looky-Looky.

 Put him in the long boat 'til he's sober

 Pull out the bung and wet him all over

 Put him in the scuppers with the deck pump on him

 Heave him by the leg in a runnin' bowlin'

 Tie him to the taffrail when she's yard-arm under

That'll teach him!
